• Managing testing effort for mutual fund and annuity planning and administrative system, including reporting testing results and progress.
• Designed and coordinated implementation of a defect and issue tracking system to help manage the issues, defects, tasks, and change requests that arise during software development projects – Currently used for all company projects.
• Managed application development and testing methodology, including business requirements gathering and system design.
• Supervised all aspects of the project including financial estimating, forecasting, project planning, resource management, client relationship management, and risk/issue mitigation.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to generate clear documents that specify functional requirements of an IT project.
• Solid PC skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and other standard windows software.
• Experience with financial services is a plus.
